Levanta "Lee" Dawn Christensen's Obituary
Levanta "Lee" Christensen, age 81, of Stanton passed away on August 22, 2018, surrounded by her family. Lee was born on June 17, 1937 in Mecosta the daughter of Clifford and Mildred (Limp) Stevens. She was raised in Lakeview and attended school there. She Married Roy Christensen in 1965 in Stanton. Lee was a line worker for Frigidaire for 24 years. She loved spending time with her family and going to the Soaring Eagle Casino.
She will be missed and is survived by her children, Sherrie Smock of Stanton, Dianna Slater of Howard City, Pamela (Tom) Rexius of Saugatuck, Tamra (Doug) Smith of Sheridan, Steven Slater of Stanton, Roy (Shanna) Christensen of Stanton; grandchildren Nicolas (Leah) Lewis, Derik, Shelly, Cristin (Brandon) Colvin, Jeremy Weber, Tonya Noyes, Steven, Stephanie, Austee Slater, Steven (Lindsay) Christensen, Lucas, Ryan Emmons, Branden Dennis; 2 brothers, Eddie and Marshall Stevens of Lakeview.
Lee was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Christensen; parents Clifford and Mildred Stevens; sisters, Wanita Collins, Iola Elliott; and brothers, Speed, Mo and Gale Stevens.
Funeral services for Lee will be on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at 5:00 PM at Brigham Funeral Chapel in Lakeview. The family will greet friends from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A luncheon will immediately follow the service in the Banquet Room.
Burial will take place on Monday, August 27, 2018, in the Altona Cemetery at 11:00 AM.
