Lew Edward Jensen's Obituary
Lew Edward Jensen, born September 4, 1957, in Greenville, Michigan, passed away on July 16, 2024. He was the beloved son of Don and Ruth Jensen.
Lew was a dedicated truck driver, owning and operating his own company. He married Ann Parks on June 10, 1983, and built a life they loved, and he welcomed two daughters, Jennifer and Emily.
Lew enjoyed traveling on his Harley, and he even bought a sidecar so his granddaughter Keghan could join him on his rides. He also enjoyed traveling and his four Great Danes. He shared many memorable journeys with Ellie, one of his beloved dogs, making frequent stops at McDonald's for cheeseburgers. Known for his great sense of humor, Lew was a true DIY enthusiast who could never sit still. He cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren, teaching them valuable lessons and taking them along on his travels in the semi.
A patriotic individual, Lew always flew an American flag at home or on the back of his semi-trailer. Lew was also a dedicated volunteer, contributing over 10 years to the Wheatland Music Organization.
Lew is survived by his loving wife, Ann; his daughters, Jennifer Tithof and Emily (Carl) Dast; his stepmom, Mable Husdon; his sister, Cindy (Bill) Borland; and his grandchildren, Bennett Tithof and Keghan Jensen (Nolan Baxter).
He was preceded in death by his parents, his mother-in-law, Jann Parks, and his brother, Dewey Jensen.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday August 1st at 11 AM at Janowicz Family Funeral Home, with visitation on July 31st from 5 to 7 PM and again one hour prior to the service.
Lew's adventurous spirit, love for his family, and dedication to his passions will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
