Lila M. Robinson's Obituary
Alma- Lila M. Robinson, age 90, formerly of Howard City, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2011 at the Masonic Pathways in Alma. She was born November 20, 1920 in Mecosta Township, the daughter of John and Amy (Morse) Thurston. Lila is survived by several nieces and nephews, to include Gail (Jess) Van Syckle and Mark Thurston, both of Stanwood. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Ray Hoag, her second husband Ken Robinson, three brothers, Melvin, Jack and Leo Thurston.Lila graduated from Big Rapids High School. She lived and worked as a Watkins Distributor in the area for years prior to moving to Florida, where she and husband Ray retired. Lila was a member of the Eastern Star and when her health had declined, moved to the Masonic Home in Alma.A private graveside memorial will be held at a later date.
