Linda Sue DeZess' Obituary
Edmore- Linda Sue (Fountain) DeZess, age 79, of Edmore passed away at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids on Saturday, June 5, 2021. She was born to Orley and Sylvia (Keeler) Fountain on August 3, 1941, in Alma, Michigan. She grew up in the Dewitt area where she attended Dewitt High School. She was employed at General Motors in the Oldsmobile Division in Lansing for 22 years before retiring. She married Allen DeZess on October 12, 1958, at Valley Farms and went on to raise 3 children. She enjoyed going to garage sales, having her craft business with her husband and daughter, collecting cookbooks, and attending car shows, she and Allen each having their own antique trucks. More than anything she loved spending time with her husband, kids, grandchildren, and great grandchildren most. She will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her husband, Allen DeZess of Edmore; children, Cynthia (Charles) Trayer of Vestaburg; Rodney DeZess of Lansing, Ronda (Anthony) Montague of Lake City; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and brother Larry T. Fountain.
