Linda Louise Prestia's Obituary
Lakeview- Linda Louise Prestia, 57, of Howard City, formerly of Ellwood City, PA passed away in Bessemer PA., on Tuesday April 9, 2019. She was born to Herman Louis and Lydia Margret (Mathis) Simmons on December 28, 1961.
Linda attended school in Ellwood City and obtained her GED in 2007. She spent her work years working at nursing homes and spent the last 6 years working at Byrne Electric in Rockford, Michigan. Linda married her husband Ronald W. Prestia in Wampum, PA on December 30, 1998. She enjoyed sewing, reading and knitting. But Linda's main love was her family and her puppies.
She will be missed by her husband of 20 years; her children Judy (Troy) Jacobs of Bessemer, PA., Valerie (Ferrell) Oscar of Ronceverte W. VA., Roy Oscar Jr. of Marlinton W. Va., and Michael Oscar of Marlinton W. Va.; step-children Angel (Troy) Bennett of Lake Worth, FL., Ron (Sam) Prestia of Howard City, MI., and Autumn (Scott) DeGood of Howard City, MI. She is also survived by 4 sisters Donna (Ken) Simmons of New Castle, PA., Elizabeth (Jay) Prestia of Howard City, MI., Eva Klingensmith of Ellwood City, PA., and Marjorie Ehrenburg of New Castle, PA.; 2 brothers Butch Simmons and Charles Simmons both of Marlinton, W. VA., numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Linda is preceded in death by her parents
