Linda Lee Tingley's Obituary
Linda Lee Tingley, 66, of , Stanwood, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2014 after a long battle with cancer. She was born on December 20, 1947 in Eveleth, MN, the daughter of Joseph and Paulina (Mauriucci) Primozich. Linda met Bill Tingley, the love of her life, in 1968 in Minnesota while he served in the United States Air Force. While starting their family, she worked at Ferris and put Bill through school. Linda retired in 2010 after 38 years at Ferris State University. Linda was a long time official bookkeeper for her husband's business. She was very involved in 4-H and the Michigan Interscholastic Horsemanship Association also with her sons and daughters activities while they were growing up and most recently with her grandchildren. Linda is survived by Bill, her husband of 44 years, one daughter; Tracy (Darrin) Pritchard of Stanwood, one son; Troy Tingley of Ada, four grandchildren,; Zachary and Riley Pritchard and Tyler and Madelyn Tingley, two brothers; Joseph (Judy) Primozich of Pentwater and Thomas (Martha) Primozich of Duluth, MN, sister-in-law, Pamela (Michael) Sigafoose of Saranac plus several nieces and nephews. A mass of Christian Burial for Linda will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., August 6, 2014 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Big Rapids with Father Michael Burt celebrant. Her family will greet friends at the church beginning at 9:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to a breast cancer charity. Arrangements by the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids, MI.
