Lindsey Sue Koscielniak's Obituary
Big Rapids - Lindsey Sue Koscielniak, 27, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. She was born on February 28, 1990, in Big Rapids, the daughter of Matthew Koscielniak and Marilyn (Muszynski) King. Lindsey graduated from Big Rapids High School in 2008, and finished Cosmetology School at the Career Center. Lindsey was an avid sports fan, she especially enjoyed the Michigan State Spartans, and the Detroit Tigers and Lions. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her parents; Matthew (Beth) Koscielniak and Marilyn (Bob) King; her sister Jaimie (J.J.) Buckingham, and their children Liam and Elliott "Yoshi"; her step-siblings Emily O'Rourke, Joel (Ashley) King, Jon (Jennie) King, and Josie (Dustin) Langlois; her grandfather Leon "Jaja" Koscielniak; her grandmother Mary Muszynski, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her partner David Wiers. Lindsey was preceded in death by her grandmother Louise "Nana" Koscielniak, and grandfather Charles Muszynski. As a Gift of Life donor, Lindsey's legacy will live on. A Celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.
