Lorene E. Stevens' Obituary
Big Rapids - Lorene E. Stevens, age 65 of Woodville, passed away Wednesday June 27, 2012. She was born on January 25, 1947 in Big Rapids, the daughter of Billie and Thelma (Pitts) Allen. Lorene enjoyed quilting, gardening, fishing, her dogs, yard sales, her family and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Willis, whom she married in 1974, four children, Wanda (Doug) Covey of White Cloud, Tammy of Florida, Wayne (Kelly) Stevens of Big Rapids, Darrell (Jennifer) Stevens of Grand Rapids, 16 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, two brothers, Bill and Jim Allen both of Paris, three sisters, Glenda (Ron) Zuern of Big Rapids, Belinda Allen of Cedar Springs and Bonnie (Joe) Lewis of East Jordan. Lorene was preceded in death by her parents, one brother George Allen and one sister Roxie Bilello. Funeral services for Lorene will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday June 30, 2012 at the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids with Jack Alvey of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 5-7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Big Rapids City Dog Park.
