Louis Stephan Gorsuch's Obituary
Louis Stephan Gorsuch, age 61, passed away unexpectedly Friday morning, January 9, 2015 at Ionia Memorial Hospital, Ionia, MI. Lou was born the son of Duane and Shirley (Morrison) Gorsuch.
Lou suffered from many health issues which kept him from participating life to its fullest, but when he was feeling up to it enough he enjoyed tinkering with anything electrical, tearing it apart and putting it back together. He also enjoyed puttering around in his yard, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Lou is survived by his children: Louis Jr. and Alexander Gorsuch; his mother, Shirley Gorsuch; brothers and sisters, Lyn (Shelly) Gorsuch, Diana Bennett, Randy (Tammy) Gorsuch, Sandy (Dale) Bretz, Debbie (Gary) Beausoleil and Tracy (Ron) Lewis; sister in-law, Kelly Kellie; good friend, Hank Gay and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lou was preceded in death by his father, Duane; 2 brothers, Larry and Jimmy Gorsuch.
A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Brigham Funeral Chapel, 6055 Howard City-Edmore Road, Vestaburg, MI.
A Visitation will also take place Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service.
Those wishing to give a memorial contribution are asked to consider donations to Brigham Funeral Chapel to assist with helping with funeral expenses.
