Luann Lee Uebele's Obituary
Luann Lee Uebele, age 67, of Sand Lake (formerly of Lakeview), passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Spectrum Heath Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Luann was born on June 8, 1948, in Lakeview, the daughter of Lyle and Flossie (Canon) Wanink. She was raised in Lakeview and graduated from Lakeview High School Class of 1966. Upon graduation, Luann attended Montcalm Community College, obtaining her Associates Degree in Nursing. Luann married Rollie Allen Uebele on March 9, 1968, in Remus. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Lakeview. Luann's hobbies included cross stitch, flowers, fishing, baking, and she enjoyed reading, however, she loved her grandchildren.
Luann will be missed by her son Stacy Aaron (Angela) Uebele of Sand Lake; three grandchildren Tyler, Evan, and Aubrie Uebele of Sand Lake; two sisters Phyllis Hogle and Gayla King both of Lakeview; two sister-in-laws Melody Vehon and Sally Martin both of Arizona; mother-in-law Betty Lou Uebele of Arizona; several nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
Luann was preceded in death by her loving husband Rollie Uebele in Jan. 2013; one infant son Mitchell Uebele in 1968; her parents Lyle and Flossie Wanink; her father-in-law Jack Uebele; one sister Caroline Christensen; and two brother-in-laws John King, and Mike Hogle.
Services for Luann will be held on Monday, September 28, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Brigham Funeral Chapel in Lakeview, Michigan with Pastor Richard Taylor and Reverend Steve Voelker officiating, with visitation one hour prior the service at 10:00 A.M... Visitation for Luann will be on Sunday, September 27, 2015 from 1-3 and 7-9 P.M. at the funeral home. A luncheon will be at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church following the graveside service in Lakeview, Cemetery. Memorial Contributions in Luann's memory may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church (Memo Ride Program).
