Lyle V. Bliesener's Obituary
Lyle V. Bliesener passed away at his home in Mecosta on July 19, 2016 at the age of 83. A Celebration of Life will be held at Janowicz Family Funeral Home in Remus on Monday, July 25, 2016 at 11:00 AM. The family will greet friends from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. A luncheon will follow the service at the Mecosta VFW Hall.
Lyle was born February 11, 1933 in Lansing, MI. He graduated from
Diamondale High School in 1951 and was drafted in to the U.S. Army not long after. After being honorably discharged, Lyle joined the family owned construction business, V. A. Bliesener & Sons Construction.
He enjoyed gardening (but I think the deer enjoyed it more), ice fishing, and cutting, splitting and stacking wood. Lyle was elected to many Board of Directors including Builders Ready Mix and Associated Builders and Contractors. His main interests in life were his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was always so proud of their many accomplishments.
Lyle is lovingly remembered by his children, Kirk (Rene), Julie and Tracy (Randy); grandchildren, Chad, Ryan, Corey, Joseph, Lindsay, Sunny and Jordan; great-grandchildren, Kalie, Brooks, Lexy, Devlin, and Eli; brother, Norm; many nieces, nephews and his Beloved Dogs.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy; father, Vern; mother, Elizabeth, and brothers, Jake and Pat.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Heart Assoc. or Hospice Compassus, 401 Center Ave. #130, Bay City 48708. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
