Marcella Marie Martin's Obituary
Marcella Marie Martin age 79, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2015 with family at her side at Thornapple Manor in Hastings, Michigan. Marcella was born January 2, 1936 in Midland, Michigan the daughter of Fred and Flora (Davis) Jacobs. She was united in marriage to Ira Martin on June 27, 1955 in Indiana; he preceded her in death on September 23, 1997. Marcella enjoyed watching television and watching movies but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Marcella is survived by her children; Flora and husband Eugene Wright of Riverdale, Ira and wife Anne Martin of Ionia and Lorie and husband Craig Wilkins of Nashville, grandchildren; Sherry, Mike, Pam, Jason, Sam, Terri, Joe, Ashley, Jesse, Sarah, Jeff, David, Gina, Brittany, Molly, Peggy, TJ, Salina and Amy, great-grandchildren; Natasha, Krista, Ta'Kyla, Tyler, Hunter, Kyle, Jerycho, Lily, Chris, Kasey, Brianna, Emma, Mikey and Jordan, great-great-grandchildren; Aurora, Scarlett, Arcas and Max. Marcella was preceded in death by her parents; husband; Ira and sisters; Nora Boyd and Adeline Wentworth.
Funeral service for Marcella is planned for Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. from Brigham Funeral Chapel-Edmore. Visitation will take place Monday, April 20, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. from Brigham Funeral Chapel-Edmore. Interment will take place in Pine River Cemetery, Blanchard, Michigan. Those wishing to do a memorial contribution are asked to consider the wishes of the Martin family. Arrangements entrusted to Brigham Funeral Chapel-Edmore.
