Margaret "Louise" Drain's Obituary
Margaret "Louise" Drain, age 86, of Lakeview, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, in her home. Louise was born on May 25, 1937, the daughter of Gerald and Helen Thompson. She retired from Electrolux in 1999, where she worked for over 30 years. She enjoyed watching Detroit Tiger's baseball on TV, and hardly ever missed watching a game. Louise loved spending time with her grandchildren, especially watching them play sports when they were younger. One of her favorite things was being out in the sun and working in her flower bed. Louise also loved animals, especially her two cats Magnum and Milton.
Louise will be missed by her two children, Daniel Drain and Lori (Brady) Paulson; grandchildren, Mac Paulson (Jaiden Meyer) and Chloe Paulson (Trevor Alexander); brother in law, Nick Nicholson; and many nieces and nephews.
Louise was preceded in death by her sisters, Geraldine Richards, Ardeth Bennett, Vonda Rasmussen, Judy Taylor, and Chris Nicholson; brother, Jerry Thompson; brother in laws, Abe Richards, Lyle Bennett, and Gary Rasmussen; sister in law, Ruth Thompson; niece, Mary Kinnee; nephew, Bill Arnold; and great niece, Ashlee Sweetland.
Contributions in Louise's honor can be made to the Montcalm County Animal Shelter.
