Margaret M. Todd's Obituary
Margaret Mae Todd, 100, of Paris, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2012, at Transitional Health Services in Fremont. She was born October 2, 1912, in Barton Township, the daughter of Henry and Francis (Haverman) Cline, and lived in Barton Township her entire life. On December 2, 1933, she married Maynard "Jake" Todd, and together they worked on their farm until he passed away on August 17, 1978. "Grandma Todd" loved to cook, and enjoyed her garden. She especially loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. For over 20 years, she also worked at Wolverine World Wide until retiring. Margaret is survived by her son Ronald and his wife Betty of White Cloud; 6 grandchildren, Danny, David, Darcy, Laura, Tina, and Jamie; 15 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 1, 2012 at the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids, with Pastor Doug Bennett officiating. Burial will be in the Davenport Cemetery in Barton Township. Margaret's family will greet friends from 4-7 p.m. today (Friday) at the funeral home, and prior to services on Saturday. Memorial Contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice.
