Marilyn was born November 27, 1936, the daughter of Frank and Lillian (Thompson) Buchholz. She married the love of her life, Ernest, on November 3, 1956 and together the two grew their family to include seven children. After living in the Davison and Mt. Morris areas for many years, Ernest and Marilyn decided to move to Lake Isabella after they retired.
Marilyn enjoyed golfing, bowling, listening to music, making cross-stitch pictures and gardening. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother known to be nurturing and supportive. Marilyn was very proud of her family and never missed a concert, sports event or Birthday. She was a woman of great faith who taught her children about prayer and forgiveness.
Loving, caring, independent and stubborn were all words used to describe Marilyn.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 58 years, Ernest; son, Ernest Paul Dipzinski; daughters, Pamela Dipzinski, Janet Cohron, Theresa (Alex) Gutierrez, Kaye Paladino and Beverly Benedict; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Sadly, Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Max; infant daughter, Karen and four siblings, Ronnie, Bill, Louise and Carol.
