Obituary
Edmore - Marilyn Jane Greene, age 59, of Edmore, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2019 at Margaret's Meadows in Remus, MI. Marilyn was born on August 25, 1959 in Langley British Columbia in Canada, the daughter of Herbert and Mary (Wolf) Lohr. She was raised in Mt. Pleasant and Cedar Lake, Michigan. Marilyn obtained her LPN from Montcalm Community College. On November 25, 1979, Marilyn married F. Wesley Greene Jr. in Vassar, Michigan. She enjoyed sewing, printing cards, and cooking. Marilyn was an active member of the Cedar Lake Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Marilyn is survived in death by her husband Wesley Greene Jr. of Edmore; son Jeffrey Alan (Ashley Wonsey) Greene of Edmore; mother Mary Lohr; two grandsons Wesley Issac and Brentley Alan Greene; two siblings Linda Anderson, and James Lohr; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her father Herbert Lohr, and one brother Thomas Lohr.
In accordance with the families wishes, cremation has taken place and her husband and family have planned a memorial service to be held at the Cedar Lake Seventh-Day Adventist Church (7260 N. Academy Rd, Cedar Lake, MI) on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 4:00 P.M. with Pastor Mike Wise officiating . A luncheon will immediately follow in the fellowship hall at the church.
