Big Rapids -- Marilyn Gail Leech, 63, of Big Rapids came home to be at peace, surrounded by family and loved ones on Monday March 16, 2015 in Big Rapids. She was born April 3, 1951 in St. Augustine, FL. the daughter of William and Joyce (Conn) Blackburn. She married her wonderful husband of 44 years, Thomas Leech, of Grand Rapids, MI on December 2, 1970. She went onto raise four great children; James Leech, Jennifer (Laurence) Reid, Jessica (William) Routley, and Justin Leech. She was loved and adored by all six of her grand boys. Though she was small she was mighty, feisty and stubborn, but with the kindest of hearts. She was phenomenal woman in all her strength, fight, and glory. That's why her children loved her so much. She enjoyed helping and encouraging others. The imprint she left on many people's hearts will live on forever. She will be sorely missed but not ever forgotten.
