Marion (Tall) Buss, 82, passed away November 8, 2025, in Big Rapids, MI. Born in Caribou, Maine, on July 15th, 1943, Marion was the third of Axel and Verna (Hjelm) Tall’s five red-headed daughters. She was a graduate of Caribou H Read Obituary
Our fondest memories of Marion were when we were in a small group at Trinity Fellowship Evangelical Free Church with Jack and Marion, Jim and Marlene Toogood, Bill and Carolyn Stanek, Chuck and I. We would meet at someone’s home every other Sunday and share a meal, dessert, and proceed to a Bible study. We would end the evening each praying for one another’s prayer requests. We were like a close-knit family and would rejoice as we shared our many answered prayers. We’ll miss Marion’s beautiful smile and her peaceful and soft-spoken demeanor. Rest in Peace, Marion.

I knew Marion when she lived at Penobscot Shores in Belfast Maine.
She was an accomplished woman, yet quietly humble and kind.
She and her husband Jack were great supporters of our music programs, and always attended our Hymn Sings and Christmas presentations. Living across the street, it was always a pleasure to watch them walking around the outside loop of our community. They were quite disciplined, and they never missed a day. And every year, they had a beautiful lit Christmas tree in their window. They were also among our finest baci ball players! Marion had an innate sweetness about her, and we were all delighted to celebrate her 80th Birthday with her family and friends! She was so happy that day. Since they moved away, I have missed them both. Marion has now moved on to her Heavenly Home, and in Christ, we know we will see her again. "To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die". Marion lives on in many hearts, including mine and all her neighbors at Penobscot Shores. I pray for Jack and her family, that God will give them comfort and peace.
Marion was a neighbor, a friend, and a delightful presence at Penobscot Shores in Belfast, Maine. She was an accomplished person, yet quietly humble and always kind. She and Jack always supported our musical efforts and attended the Hymn Sings and Christmas programs here.

I was honored to be among her many friends and family members who celebrated her 80th birthday here at a delightful party!.
Living across the street, I always admired their discipline in getting out to walk together every day, and their beautiful Christmas tree lit in their window. I will miss Marion's earthly presence, but I know that God has welcomed her into Heaven, and we will see her again.
