Big Rapids Marion P. Holstine, 72, of Fenton, Michigan, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at Altercare of Big Rapids. She was born January 19, 1937 in St. Johns, New Brunswick, Canada, the daughter of Walter and Mildred Scott. Marion is survived by six children; two sisters, Margie (Bill) Gronek of Mainville, Ohio, Betty Harris-Frazee of London, Ontario, her step-mother, G.Elizabeth Scott of Hemet, California and a granddaughter, Abigail Donley of Big Rapids. She was preceded in death by husbands, Gerald Hands and Frank Holstine and sister, Barbara Kellogg. Marions life was devoted to caring for others. Putting others needs ahead of her own, cooking, sewing and gardening were her passion.
