Mark Linton Gardner's Obituary
Edmore- Mark Linton Gardner, age 66, passed away on Wednesday, June 5 in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. He was born in Carson City, Michigan on February 22, 1958, to his parents Jay and Ruth Gardner. He was the youngest of 12 siblings. Mark obtained his GED before he became a self-employed carpenter. He remained a carpenter for over 30 years before finally retiring in 2020. In 1978, Mark married the love of his life, Linda Lou Bailey, with whom he shared many years. Mark enjoyed many things, including hunting, building, Nascar, wrestling, and cars. Most important to him was spending time with his family. Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Jay and Ruth; wife, Linda; and 9 of his siblings. Mark will be missed by his children; Misty Gardner of Six Lakes, Steffany (Zachary) Perrin of Stanton, Jay (Vanessa) Gardner of Port Charlotte, FL; Grandchildren; Zandra, Zaylie, and Zachariah Perrin, Lindsey, Lora, and Lilah Gardner; and the rest of his family. A funeral service will be held at 11AM on Monday, June 10 at Brigham Funeral Chapel in Edmore. The family will welcome guests on Sunday, June 9, from 5-7 PM at the funeral chapel, and then again on Monday at 10 AM until time of service. Luncheon will follow the service at McBride Hall on Wyman Road.
