Marlene Adele Behrenwald's Obituary
Lakeview-Marlene Adele Behrenwald, age 72, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and adoring wife to the late Henry L. Behrenwald, passed away September 16, 2024, at home surrounded by her family. Marlene was a thoughtful and caring woman, always giving her time to her family before herself. She was born in Lakeview on August 26, 1952, to Ardis and Jack Carlson and attended Lakeview Community Schools with her sister Connie Andrews. Marlene met and fell in love with Henry Behrenwald while in high school. They were married in May 1970, and soon after started their family. Not only was Marlene a full-time mother to her four girls, she also worked on the Behrenwald Family Farm where she never skipped a beat. She was able to teach her girls how to work hard, be strong and still be nurturing. She would drop everything at a moments notice when her girls or grandkids needed her, and was the first to offer help no matter how far from home that may be. She made sure we understood she was only a car ride or plane trip away. Marlene enjoyed going out on the town with Henry for dinner and spending time with their close family friends. Marlene will be greatly missed by her family, especially her 4 daughters, Sonya (Brian) Dillon, Alisha (Jeff) Bigler, Jill (Shaun) Bartolo, Amy (Enrique) Yepez; grandchildren, Erica (Jonathan), Isabel, Nicholas, Miguel, Aurelia, Nicole (Tyler), Arianna (Jon), Marissa; great-grandchildren, Briley, Aubrey, Kaydin, Cooper and Maverick. All who adore her with all of their hearts. Also surviving are sisters, Connie Andrews and Ana Rita Perlingeiro; several close cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Behrenwald; parents, Ardis and Jack Carlson; in-laws, Arthur and Charlotte Behrenwald; sister, Ann Johnson."We know that we can't have you, but we're happy knowing that the angels have welcomed you back.
