I was saddened to hear of Marlene's passing. She was a great lady. I first met her when I started working at the Lakeview Area News in 2006. She would come in with Dick occasionally. I worked with Dana and she always talked about her grandmother with pride and love. I loved Dick and was happy when he sold the paper to Dana and me. The Boomers were very special people. Now, Marlene is reunited with Dick. My condolences to the Boomer family. Linda Huckins
