Obituary
Mary Jane (Wing) Jennings, age 84, of Okemos, passed away in Okemos with family by her side. Mary was born on July 16, 1937 in Sumner, MI, the daughter of Adolphus Jarvis and Estella (Brecht) Wing. She was raised in the Sumner area and attended Alma Public Schools. Mary married Albert "Al" Henry Jennings on July 31, 1954 in Riverdale, MI. Al was the love of Mary's life and they were great examples of Jesus to everyone they encountered. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved the outdoors, gardening, walking and eating out.
Mary will be greatly missed by her family, especially her great grandchildren who spent countless hours in her room playing, sharing snacks, and receiving lots of love from "Granny". She has two children, Rocky (Sherry) Jennings of Essex, Ontario, and Julie (Matthew) Randall of DeWitt; 5 grandchildren, Chad, Chelsea, Anna, Christie, and Grace; 8 great grandchildren, Joseph, Jessica, Pierce, Lillianna, Landon,Tessa Rose, Lincoln, Kinsley; one brother, Joseph Wing of St. Johns; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Al Jennings, in 2016; her parents, Adolphus and Estella Wing; siblings, Walter, Francis, Leo, Donald, Fredrick, Ernest, Carl, & David Wing; Hazel (Wing) Johnson, and Alice (Wing) Henderline.
In accordance with the families wishes, cremation has taken place.
