Mary Jane Jensen's Obituary
Edmore-Mary Jane (Pickell) Jensen, age 93, of Edmore went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 27, 2020. She was born the daughter of Jesse and Alta (Bloss) Pickell on September 26, 1927 in Crystal, where she was raised. She graduated from Crystal High School with the class of 1945. Mary Jane married the love of her life, Earl L. Jensen on November 7, 1945 in Denton TX and they spent 71 happy years together before his passing in 2018. She was a loving wife, mother and homemaker who enjoyed sewing, quilting, crocheting, knitting and gardening. She was an active and faithful member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Edmore for many years. She will be truly missed by all who were blessed to know her.
Mary Jane is survived by her daughter, Marvel (Bob) Cutler of Edmore; son, Scott Jensen of Lakeview; grandchildren, Bobby Cutler, Mark (Brandy) Cutler, Matt Cutler, Jason (Ashlee) Jensen, Samantha (Brian Plank) Jensen, Courtney (Mike) Martin, Jesse (Lauren) Jensen, Scott Ryan (Shaina) Jensen, Alicia Jensen; Great-grandchildren, Katelyn Jensen, Hunter Jackson, Brooke Sadler, Cory Sadler, Seth Carey, Chloe Cutler, Madelyn Jensen, Kiley Jensen, Lane Carey, Audrey Jensen, Lyla Carey, Delaina Martin, Hoyt Jensen, Amelia Martin; nieces, nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Earl; son, Thomas L. Jensen in February of 2020; grandson, Collin M. Jensen in 2017; great-grandson, Henery Jensen in 2019; her parents, Jesse and Alta; sisters, Emily (Wilson) Greenhoe, and Marion (Marshall) Waldron.
A memorial service will be scheduled for a later date in the Spring.
