Mary Leslie Mason's Obituary
A bright star was dimmed on May 12 when Mary Mason passed away in the comfort of her home. Mary Leslie Mason of Wheatland Township lived a great deal of life in her 52 years. Born on August 9, 1970 in Indiana she had a lively childhood and in turn married her best friend, Scott Mason, in July 1996. Together they grew their family to a crew of 7 with their five children.
Mary was a devoted wife and mother who loved to cook and care for her family. She enjoyed food and shined brightly when she could share that joy with others. As nature brought her solace, she was happiest being outside and taking walks in the rural area. Mary was skilled at knitting and crocheting, creating loved pieces that will be part of her legacy.
Mary had a knack for putting family and friends before herself with her fun-loving nature and great sense of humor. Taking time wither her appearance, Mary liked to have her nails and makeup just so and collected Jewelry to shine like her big heart. When necessary, she also had a stubborn streak and was a fighter.
Left to carry on her memory are her husband, Scott; Children: Tabbatha Mason (Corey), Allen (Mike Day) Mason, Scotty Mason, Cassandra (Logan Whitaker) Michels, and Tricia (Stacy Kathleen) Mason; Grandchildren: Joclynn, Jasmine, Qwinton, Natalee, Anthony, and Elizabeth
Siblings: Malinda (Lou) Valle-Thomason, Patrick (Brooke) Valle, Christa (Todd) McLane, Roy Valle, Johnathan, (Heidi) Whitney, Yolanda (Jon Boyer) Valle; mother and father-in-law, Teresa and Earl Mason and the rest of the extended in-law family; special second family the Day’s; Michael Day, Tammie Day, Dria Day, Mikey Day, Sean Day, Drew Day and Mitchell Tomky. Fur babies Lily and Buster and awaiting her heavenly arrival- her beloved dog precious.
Per her wishes, cremation will take place with a celebration of her vibrant life to follow at a later date.
