Mary Judith Nichols' Obituary
Mary Judith Nichols, born on September 22, 1932, in Oak Park, Illinois, peacefully passed away on June 14, 2024. She was the beloved daughter of Joseph and Marie (McCarron) Maloney.
A devout Catholic, Mary Judith spent several years serving the church as a Nun with the Adrian Dominican Sisters.
Mary was a devoted wife to Charles Nichols, with whom she shared many cherished moments, particularly their mutual love for playing golf. She also found great joy in reading and playing Mahjong, pursuits that brought her much happiness and camaraderie over the years.
Mary is survived by her loving niece; Maura Higgins (Felix Amato), and brother, Bill Maloney. Her memory will also be treasured by numerous friends and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles, her siblings, and her best friend Margaret (Renie) Gnau.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service to honor her life will be held at a later date.
