Mary Catherine Pierce's Obituary
Mary Catherine (Krawczyk) Pierce 96, of Lansing joined her Lord and Savior on July 5,2024 passing peacefully in her sleep. Mary was born on December 4, 1927and married the love of her life Rhonald Pierce on September 23,1972.
Mary lived a long and fulfilled life, had the biggest heart, and loved her familyunconditionally. She was the true matriarch of the family. She was never afraid to speakher mind and loved decorating her house for every holiday. She made the best sugarcookies and magic cookie bars, and you never left her house empty-handed or hungry.She loved to play cards with several of her friends and looked forward to the Bi-AnnualKrawczyk Family Reunion. She worked at the School for the Blind, MSU and Campbell Catering.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, mother, and father-in-law, 9 siblings andson-in-law (Ric).
Mary is survived by her husband Rhon, her 3 children, Kay (Doug)Hulbert, John (Dori) Minnard, Erick (Tracie) Minnard and 3 stepchildren, Blain(Deborah) Pierce, Kathie (Bill) Ross and Robin Pierce; 1 brother Adam (Jr.) along withseveral grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces andnephews.
A service will be held in honor of Mary on Saturday August 24, 2024at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 4980 Burt Ave., Grand Ledge, MI at 3:00 pm.After the service a light meal will be served along with a chance to share memories.
