Megan Marie Mitchell's Obituary
Megan Marie (Mulholland) Mitchell born on June 4, 1970, in Lake Metamora, Michigan went home to be with her Lord & Savior on August 15, 2022.
Devoted to her family & friends, Megan loved game nights, holiday gatherings (for ALL Hallmark holidays), open houses, wedding receptions, and sisters' weekends where she often showed up late even with her nickname, "Speed".
She loved to garden & play in the dirt, can & feeze, and cook & bake as well as weave baskets, paint & quilt. She was extremely creative & could envision the pattern & art in each stroke of paint on canvas or piece of fabric & quilt.
She was a full experience shopper loving to look at every item in every aisle and make an afternoon or evening of grabbing a few items at any store.
Megan spent the last years of her career as a title examiner with a gift for special projects where she formulated her thoughts & knowledge by "putting pen to paper" as her mother taught her as a young child. She could see the ownership of a parcel of property back to when "God owned it" and loved the adventure of researching & mapping it out.
Surviving Megan are: her husband, Ronald C Mitchell; children: Tony Bannen (Heidi), Nikke Bannen, Drew Bannen (Alyssa), and Emmett Mitchell (Bianca); grandson, Eldon Bannen; best friend, Kevin Bannen; her father, L Charles Mulholland (Judy); her siblings: Jamie Bunting (Lon), Jodi Stanowick (Brad), L Peter Mulholland (Tory), Mark Mulholland (Gina), Matthew Mulholland (Danielle), and Aaron Mulholland (Ashley) as well as many nephews & nieces.
She was predeceased by her mother, Gloria Mulholland & sister, Paige Denslow (Ron) as well as her grandparents, and most of her uncles & aunts.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at Brigham Funeral Chapel, 9977 W Howard City-Edmore Rd, Lakeview at 11 a. m. with funeral service to follow at noon, Pastor Dave Abberger officiating.
