Merle J. Gidley's Obituary
Xenia - Merle J. Gidley, age 74, of Xenia, Ohio, passed away on January 21, 2016. He was a dedicated husband and father, loved by all. Merle is survived by his wife of 50 ½ years, Wanda Gidley; children, Ricki (Tom) Amsing, Randell (Lisa) Gidley, and Merlin (Belinda) Gidley; grandchildren, Travis Hartline, Brandi Gidley, Tanner Hartline, Jacob Gidley, Colton Gidley, Chester Gidley, and Gabrielle Amsing; and a brother, Stanford (Diana) Gidley. He was preceded in death by his parents, Merle and Geraldine Gidley; and brothers, Thomas, David, and Kenneth Gidley. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, April 2, 2016 at the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids with Pastor Joe Cottle officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 pm, Friday, April 1, 2016 at the Mohnke Funeral Home. Committal will take place at the Fairview Cemetery.
