Michael Scott Bouck's Obituary
Michael Scott Bouck, age 51, of St. Louis passed away unexpectedly on October 7, 2018 in Wyoming, Michigan. Michael was born on February 6, 1967 in Greenville the son of Clair and Michele (Wickware) Bouck. He was raised in Greenville and graduated from Greenville High School with the class of 1985. Michael continued his education at Montcalm Community College where he earned his Associates Degree in Business. He started working at the age of 16, at Meijer for over 20 years. Mike then continued his employment at Weller as a service manager for 3 years, as a manager for Muffler Man for 1 year, a lineman at Electrolux for over 2 years and currently at Delfield in Mt. Pleasant for over 5 years.
Mike loved being outside; hunting, fishing, mushrooming with Izzy, camping, kayaking, landscaping, kites, baseball, going to Wheatland and bonfires. He was the best at making bonfires. He loved to argue politics, had a wonderful smile and "smiley eyes" that always gave him away. Mike had the stinkiest feet! He had to wash his feet before coming in the house and leave his shoes outside. He was a member of the "Scubscouts" and a pool league. More than anything, Mike loved "his girls" and his family.
Michael will be deeply missed and is survived by his daughters, Mailary (Garrison) Barton of Wyoming, Cortnie (Marcus) Jensen of Belding, and Samantha Bouck of Grand Rapids; his mother Michele (Ken) Baker aka "Micki and Pops" of Lakeview; his father Clair (Sharon) Bouck of Greenville; Papa Mikes' Girls, Isabella "Izzy Butt", Ellynor and Olivia; brothers and sister, Kevin (Krystal) Bouck of Litchfield, Maine, Steve Bouck of Greenville, Jennifer Bouck of Lakeview, plus all of his additional siblings from his blended family.
He was welcomed home by several special people who passed before him; great Aunt Maxine and Uncle Dirk Blake; and great-grand parents Don, Evelyn and Pauline Wickware, and Alice and Leo Bouck.
A celebration of Life with a potluck meal will be held in Mike's honor on Friday, October 12, 2018 at the Lakeview VFW Post 3701 from 6:00-8:00PM. The family will greet friends on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Brigham Funeral Chapel, Lakeview. All are encouraged to wear tie-dye.
