Very saddened to hear of the loss of Dr. Cron. He was an excellent teacher and a kind man and will be greatly missed. My condolences to his friends and family.

I met Mike when he was a student in the first optometry class I ever taught in Chicago in 1971. We continued as colleagues at Ferris for many years. He was a strong, rather quiet, dignified person with a dry, warm wit. I aso had an opportunity to see him

Dr. Cron, was a fabulous optometric educator, peer and administrator. I dearly miss his silent and yet commanding presence and his dry sense of humor. My deepest condolences to his family!
