Michael Edmund Regina's Obituary
Michael Edmund Regina, 84, of Vestaburg, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at home, surrounded by family. Michael was born in Detroit on January 7, 1942, to Edward and Rose Regina. He grew up in the Detroit area, graduating from high school in Warren, where he met his wife, Linda. Michael had a successful career in the automotive industry, graduating from the General Motors Institute with a bachelor's degree. He was the president of the Lobdell-Emery Manufacturing Company in Alma for many years before retiring in 1995. His true passion, however, was fishing, especially deep-sea fishing. Michael and Linda spent many winters in Sarasota, Florida, where his love for the sea remained strong. He was a devoted grandfather who loved to travel; one of his most memorable vacations was spent deep-sea diving in Belize.
Michael will be greatly missed by beloved wife, Linda; children, Michael Edmund Regina Jr., Kelly Adrianne Cobb, Rory Gerald (Suzette) Regina; grandchildren, April, Summer, Haylie, Molly, Chyna, Chase; 7 great-grandchildren; and sister Mary Lou Regina.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Gerald Regina.
