You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Carrie Buskirk (Rogers). So sorry for your loss.
We knew Michelle since she was 14 and dating our cousin Dana. Ever since then she called us mom and dad. Our doors were always open to her. And she came knocking often. We will sure miss her smiling face. Our neighbor Steven Ryan who was very close to Michelle wanted us to add to this. Michelle had the best smile in the World and A Heart of Gold.
This news reminded me I never stoped loving her! She was my first true love and we had some incredible times together. Just kids and wild ride together I had so much fun so free to do as we wished. Not always the best ideas ! She was so fun so funny as everyone liked her and those that knew here best loved her always . Rest In Peace and my heart goes out to her family and friends!
When I think of Michelle, so many childhood memories rush back. Memories of her at her VERY best. As a young girl, she was SO full of BIG smiles, BIG hugs, BIG love. We did all the great sister things together....we were being raised by two of the sweetest and most loving people in the world in Cindy and Steve Maguire, and we had our little sister Lisa (with the CUTEST little speech impediment you have EVER heardπ) We were so lucky. We danced to Michael Jackson's newest cassette tapes playing on our pink Casio boom boxes. We watched the movie, The Last Unicorn, on the VCR- at least 100 times- I can STILL quote the entire movie! We rode our bikes together everywhere and roller-skated our legs off on the weekends at all the tween roller-rink "dances". We played underneath the big pine tree at the Bandfield house, and had crushes on the same boys. I remember how pretty she was. I was so jealous.π All of her friends' Moms adored her. Everyone loved her. She was so popular and perfect, and I loved her SO MUCH. No matter how pretty, popular and perfect she became though, she never changed- and she loved me too. She was so affectionate and sweet. I know that as she grew up, her life changed and she unfortunately had to fight demons on a daily basis. It makes me so incredibly sad. She was just such a heart full of love and personality, and I'm sure that was all so difficult to maintain as an adult. I feel so, so lucky to have known her at her best. To have all these wonderful memories of the girl she was and to know that she impacted many people in her young life for the GOOD. SO MUCH GOOD. SO MUCH LOVE. She will live within me forever. As she and I used to say out loud EVERY time we listened to Todd and Copper in The Fox and The Hound...."We'll ALWAYS be friends, forever. Yeah, FOREVER."
Rest high on that mountain, your work here is done. Baby girl your smile would light up a room and that laugh i will never forget. My condolences to the familyππππππππ
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Rest in pease Michelle! Hugs and prayers!
