Morgan Jean Lindsey's Obituary
Morgan Jean Lindsey, age 28, died peacefully surrounded by her parents at their home in Lakeview after an over six-year-long battle with cancer. Morgan was born at Kelsey Hospital on May 7, 1994 to Michael and Kristen Lindsey. She was an honors graduate of Lakeview High School and attended Montcalm Community College where she received her cosmetology degree. While growing up, Morgan enjoyed family vacations to Bear Lake and to the family cabin in Brethren, spending time with friends and playing sports. Morgan spread her wings and moved to Grand Rapids where she began her career as a barber. She enjoyed her independence, apartment living, and attending music festivals and concerts. Moving back home to be cared for by her parents, Morgan took up the love of growing gardens of succulents, drawing and caring for her cat. Her most treasured moments were Wednesday and Friday nights with her constant, Max. She is survived in death by her parents Michael and Kristen Lindsey, siblings Auburn Powell (Travis), Jourdan Lindsey, Shawn Lindsey (Rachael), Grandparents Renae Drain, Ron and Paula Estill, her best friend Max Simon and her cat, Mr. Floyd.
The visitation and funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at New Life United Methodist Church in Lakeview. The visitation will start at 12:00pm and the service will start at 1:00 with a luncheon to follow. The family has requested any monetary donations be made to Spectrum Health Hospice.
