Nancy Sharon Bacon's Obituary
Nancy Sharon Bacon, 73 of Morley, passed away the evening of Saturday December 5, 2015 at Extended Care- Lakeview. A funeral ceremony to celebrate Nancy’s life will take place Thursday, December 10th, at 11:00 AM at Janowicz Family Funeral Home-Remus. Visitation will also take place at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Nancy was born December 19, 1941, the daughter of Otto and Irene Bacon. After a nearly fatal sickness when she was 18 months old, Nancy would only even know the innocent mind of a child. Once she started walking, she really never quit. She always had to be on the move. She enjoyed playing “Peek-a-Boo”, and was always known to be very polite. She even thanked the Dentist that pulled her teeth. Nancy could also be very stubborn, never doing anything she didn’t want to. She was described by family as a “heck of a good kid” that they wouldn’t have traded for anything. Believed to be an angel on earth, Nancy touched the lives of many. She didn’t understand what a lie was nor did she know racism or judgment. Everyone was equally loved by her and loved her in return.
Left to cherish her memory are her brothers, Harry Bacon of Montrose, Chuck (Nancy) Bacon of Shawnee, OK and Dennis Bacon (Wanda Eckles) of Altona; sister, Patricia Bassett (Richard Braidwood) of Saginaw and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great great-nieces and nephews.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and 16 siblings.
Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to Extended Care in Lakeview. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
