Nancy Jane Goodheart's Obituary
Stanwood - Nancy Jane Goodheart, 96, of Canadian Lakes, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 11, 2022, at the Royal View Retirement Community.
She was born April 3, 1926, in Lancaster, PA, the daughter of Alvah and Minnie Belle (Patterson) Hershey, and attended McCaskey High School there. On October 25, 1946, Nancy married Robert Goodheart, Sr., who preceded her in death in 1990.
While living in Pennsylvania, Nancy worked for the RCA Corporation for several years. She was a feisty individual, was the life of the party, and was a very generous woman with a wonderful sense of humor. Nancy loved family time, and was "Grandma Gigi" to many. In her spare time, Nancy enjoyed a good game of golf.
Nancy is survived by her children, Connie (Rudy) Cetrone, Sue (Clarence) Spicy, and Robert (Mary Sarah) Goodheart Jr.; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by ten siblings.
A Celebration of Nancy's life will be held in the summer of 2023. Memorial contributions in her name may be made for Spectrum Health Hospice. Care and arrangements are entrusted to the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids. Share a memory or express condolences at mohnkefuneralhome.com.
