Naomi Jean (Main) Lebeck's Obituary
Naomi Jean (Main) Lebeck, age 83, passed away December 18, 2015 at her home in Sidney, MI. Naomi was born February 1, 1932 in Eaton County, MI, the daughter of Gerald A. and Violet (Simons) Main. She was raised in Lansing, MI. Naomi married Roger Willard Lebeck in 1948 in Lakeview, MI. She was employed with the United States Postal Service as a Mail Carrier in Sidney for over fifteen years. She enjoyed selling Judy Lee Jewelry and selling clothes for Bee Line Clothing for several years. Her many hobbies included music, singing, playing guitar, softball, crossword and word search puzzles, hosting parties for her jewelry sales, Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs, Cardinals, flowers, watching soaps, but most of all she loved being a mother and grandmother. She volunteered for ACAP and then hired in. Naomi was a member of the Reorganized Church of the Latter Day Saints.
Naomi will be missed by her husband Roger W. Lebeck; four children Roger G. (Marcia) Lebeck of Sidney, Joel R. Lebeck of Sidney, Gerald W. Lebeck of Sheridan, and Rojeanna L. (Volley) Holbrook of Edmore; thirty-five grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Naomi was preceded in death by her parents Gerald and Violet Main; one grandson Roger Jr. Lebeck in 2007; one granddaughter Echo Jean Lebeck in 2011; three brothers Durwood, Mike, and Western Main; two sisters Edith Shepard, and Iva Wiggins.
Funeral services for Naomi will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Brigham Funeral Chapel in Six Lakes, MI, with Pastor Bob Jones officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior the service starting at Noon. A luncheon will be at the Church of the Gentle Sheppard following the service. Memorial contributions in Naomi's memory may be made to Joel Lebeck, 4605 Sidney Rd., Sidney, MI 48885.
