Neal Alan Boerma's Obituary
Lakeview-Neal Alan Boerma, age 38, of Greenville passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 28, 2019. He was born in Lakeview, the son of Laura Lea Boerma, on August 13, 1981. He was raised in the Lakeview area where he made a small group of lifelong friends. Neal would help anyone that needed anything. He was a simple man with a good and kind heart, but was emotionally a tough guy. He enjoyed video games, music, muscle cars, ghost hunting and was a huge fan of the TV show, Ancient Aliens. Neal was employed by Herbruck's Poultry Ranch in Ionia.
Neal is survived by his children, Christina Lewis, Matthew Boerma, Mercedes Boerma; brothers, Chad Kohler of Stanton, Richard Post of Morley; nieces, Kaylee Keeler, Savannah and Brynley Kohler; grandmother, Sharon Boerma; uncles, Duane, Darwin and Daryle Boerma; aunts, Deb and Dawn Boerma, Lisa (Richard) Post; his best friend, Dobby Everts; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Laura Boerma Post; and his grandfathers, Ed Boerma and David Mumby.
Services for Neal will be scheduled at a later date.
