Nicholas Elton Perkins' Obituary
Nicholas Elton Perkins, age 33 passed March 31, 2016 at St Mary's Hospital, Grand Rapids, Michigan. Nick was born August 21, 1982 in Alma, Michigan, the son of Rick and Katherine (Judge) Perkins. Nick graduated from Montabella High School. He proudly joined the United States Navy and honorably served for 7 years. He served as an aviation electrician on the USS Abraham Lincoln. Nick went out of his way to give; whether it be a smile, a hug, a helping hand or a laugh. He enjoyed hanging out by the campfire with family and friends and spending time with "his child"; his canine buddy Ren.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Rick and Kathy; sister, Jessica Perkins and her significant other Brook Larson; brother Thomas Perkins; nephews Owen and Nathan; grandparents, Elton and Georgeanna Perkins. Nick was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tom and Alice Judge and Anna Perkins, and his Godfather, Dan Judge. Nicholas will be missed dearly and we know in our hearts that he is home now.
A Memorial Service will take place Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at 11:00 AM from St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Edmore, Michigan with Father Eugene Okoli to officiate.. Visitation will take place Tuesday evening at 6:00PM until 8:00PM with a Rosary to be prayed at 7:30PM also from St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church.
