Nile was born November 11, 1941 in Grand Rapids, MI to parents Theo and Alice (Louck) Hutson. He was lovingly raised with his two brothers by his grandparents Charles and Fern Louck of Morley, MI. He graduated from Morley Stanwood High School in 1960. While he didn't love academics, he loved playing basketball and made many lifelong friends. After graduating he proudly served in the United States Army, spending the majority of that time stationed in Germany. After returning home he met the love of his life, Marcia, while working at Wolverine in Rockford and they were married in June of 1963. Together they raised 4 children. He retired from Meijer Corporation where he worked 25 years.
He loved a good joke and had an infectious laugh. He enjoyed watching movies and often quoted lines from some of his favorites. He was a big fan of Tigers Baseball. Nile was an avid deer hunter both at home and on many, many trips to the mountains of Wyoming and Colorado. A social butterfly, he'd been known to drink a beer or two with friends. He also enjoyed watching the wildlife empty the bird feeder each day. Always a dog lover, his 4-legged companion and protector over the last few years was his dog, Meesha, who stuck by his side through his entire illness.
Most important of all he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and he will be terribly missed by his family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 4, 2021 at Brigham Funeral Chapel in Lakeview with Pastor Alex Sabol officiating. Interment will be at Aetna Township Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Sunday, October 3 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral chapel.
