Nina "Ginny" Hutson's Obituary
Nina “Ginny” V. Hutson, age 91 of Blanchard, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at McLaren Central Michigan-Mt. Pleasant. A funeral ceremony will be held Saturday, April 30th at 11 AM, at Janowicz Family Funeral Home-Remus with Patti Hicks officiating. Visitation will also take place at the funeral home on Friday from 4 PM – 7 PM, and again on Saturday morning from 10 AM to the time of service.
Ginny was born March 12, 1925, the daughter of Richard and Daisy (Shurlow) Fountain. Known to be cheerful, loving and caring; Ginny always loved to be with people, especially her family. Playing cards was a favorite hobby of hers, whether it was just for fun or in a league. She was a huge Detroit Tigers fan, even though they had recently been disappointing her. Ginny was also a member of both the Blanchard American Legion and Edmore VFW. She worked at Maxfield’s Restaurant for nearly 50 years cooking and waitressing.
Left to cherish her memory are her three sons, Robert B. (Mary) Hutson, Marvin (Linda) Hutson and Raymond (Cheryl) Hutson; brother, Arnold Fountain; sister, Betty May; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and her entire “Maxfield’s family”.
Ginny was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 40 years, Dale; three brothers, George, Harold “Sam” and Jim and three sisters, Marie, Ida and Rose.
