Norma Arleen Bollinger's Obituary
Edmore - Norma Arleen Bollinger, age 92, of Vestaburg, passed away Monday, April 17, 2017 at Schneps of St. Louis. Norma was born in McBride on July 24, 1924, the daughter of LeRoy and Mabel (Watts) McConnell. She was raised on the family farm in McBride, Michigan and graduated from McBride country schools. Upon graduation, her and Raymond married, together they raised 3 children where she enjoyed working on the farm. She enjoyed time with grandchildren and attending their sporting events, spending time at the baby pantry, and attending church. Norma was a faithful member of the Ferris Church of Christ.
Norma is survived by three children Crystal (Larry) Martin, Denise (Rich) Bigelow, and Kevin (Kim) Bollinger; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and one sister Marilyn Anderson.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Mabel McConnell; her husband Raymond Bollinger; one brother Leland McConnell, and one sister Doris Cook.
Funeral services for Norma will be held on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ferris Church of Christ with Pastor Joshua Rude officiating. The family will be accepting visitors the day of the service at 10:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will be immediately following the service at Ferris Township Cemetery. A luncheon will be held at the church. In Lieu of flowers, those wishing to contribute in Norma's memory are asked to consider either the East Montcalm Baby Pantry or Great Lakes Caring Hospice.
