Many good times with Norma many years ago when we were selling make up and I would clean their home. Picked her up for Low Vision Meetings and was there with her when Elaine use to bring her.
Very sad to learn of Aunt Norma's passing. She was a wonderful woman, always friendly, smiling, and interested in what might be going on in your life. Enjoyed many special conversations with her during family reunions and other visits with her and Merv around Stanton and Greenville. Norma added beauty to life with her talents and character. We will miss her. In our loss, may we all take comfort in from those memories we hold dear. Will be with you in spirit these next few days, thinking of you and praying with you. Deepest sympathies. Tom, I remember so very many good times at your home -- and your Mom was a big part of making that happen. I clearly remember the first time I stayed over night. It was the first time I had ever stayed overnight anywhere other than one of my family members. I was somewhat shy and was a little scared. When we crawled into the beds in your room, I remember the darkness was a little overwhelming. Your Mom came in, tucked the covers around you, and gave you a good-night kiss on your forehead. Then she did the same for me -- I then just knew it was going to be a good sleep that night! Your Mom was always so welcoming, kind, and loving. She was a 'class act'. I became a part of dear Norma's family when her son Tom married my daughter Barbara and a long distance relationship began. She was a kind and sweet friend who I was ever so happy to have made and admired her for all her talents.
My heartfelt sympathy goes out to every member of her family.

We remember Norma as a long-time supporter of our little White Pine District Library and we thank her for that, but I personally remember her as one of my wonderful church mamas.

I worked for Merv at Stanton Seed for many years and always enjoyed Norma and respected her contribution and support to Merv in his business life. I am sorry that I cannot come to either the visitation or the funeral as I no longer drive after dark and have an appointment at the time of the funeral. It would be nice to touch base with all of you boys again but is not to be. My sincerest condolences on your mother's passing. She was a great lady in my book.
