Norma Jean Brzezinski's Obituary
Reed City- Norma Jean Brzezinski, 77, of Reed City passed to a new life on Tuesday, July 14, 2015. She was born on August 30, 1937 in Highland Park, Michigan, the daughter of William H. and Ruby (Peterson) Olson. She worked many years in medical care at Reed City Hospital and Mecosta County General Hospital. Norma Jean was an active member of Reed City Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, walking with friends, and antiquing. Norma Jean loved her pets. Norma Jean is survived by four children, Vivian (Gary) DeVivo of Big Rapids, Charmaine (Matt) Brenner of Rapid City, Walter "Tom" (Kathy) Brzezinski of Reed City, and Christine (Charley) Switzer of Paris; seven grandchildren, Alex DeVivo, Jacob (Christa) Brenner, Emily (Andrew) Stump, Daniel (Dee) Brzezinski, Jason (Kaitlyn) Brzezinski, Makenzie and Zane Switzer; three great grandchildren, Elsa Brenner, Henry Stump, and Rylee Brzezinski. Norma Jean was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 51 years, Walter Brzezinski, who she lovingly cared for during the final ten years of his life; and one brother, William Olson. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, July 18, 2015 at the Reed City Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Chris DeMott officiating. Her family will greet friends beginning at 10:00 am. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Michigan or Reed City Church of the Nazarene.
