Norma Leone Skinner's Obituary
Lakeview-Norma Leone Skinner, age 80, of Greenville passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2024. She was born on April 3, 1944, to CJ and Reva (Thompson) Hutson on her grandma's farm near Entrican. Norma attended Lakeview Schools and then married Marvin Lee Skinner in 1962. Marvin preceded her in death on February 19, 1986. Norma then was employed by Montcalm County as a clerk in the 64B District Court in Stanton until she retired. Norma is survived by her 3 children, Connie Leone Klunder, Jeff (Karen) Skinner all of Greenville, Marvin CJ (Audrey) Skinner of Texas; 9 grandchildren, Nicole Leone Klunder, Brenda Jean Klunder, Timothy Skinner, Joseph Skinner, Sarah (Brian) Looney, Emily (Robert) Port all of Michigan, Eric (Colleen) Skinner, Matthew (Darby) Skinner, Mitchell (Haley) Skinner all of Texas; 2 sisters, Sue Hutson, Diana (Gary) Skinner both of Sylvester; and 2 great-grandchildren that are on the way. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Lee; her parents, CJ and Reva; sister, Janice and Henry Kuzee; 2 brothers-in-law, Richard Skinner and Jerry "Skip" Skinner. The family will greet friends for a time of visitation from 4:00 -7:00 PM on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at Brigham Funeral Chapel in Lakeview. A private graveside service at Little Denmark Cemetery in Gowen, where Norma will be laid to rest with her husband is scheduled. In lieu of flowers please consider a contribution to Cannonsville Critters, (PO Box 94, Stanton, MI 48888) a local non-profit cat rescue. Norma always loved her cats.
