Norma Sue Waddell's Obituary
Traverse City - Norma Sue Waddell, 70, of Traverse City, formerly of St. Clair Shores, passed away Tuesday, February 27,2018 in the presence of her two loving daughters.
Norma was born April 16, 1947 in Reed City, Michigan, the daughter of Norman R. and Doris (Owens) Rehkopf. She graduated from Reed City High School in 1965. Norma spent her career in corporate human resources at William Beaumont Hospital, retiring in 2011 after 35 years. She enjoyed spending time on the water with her family, home improvement projects, and vacationing in Mexico. Norma will be remembered for her generosity, loving caring nature, bravery, and her impeccable sense of style.
She is survived by her two daughters, Jill Waddell of New York City and Erika Waddell Barrett and her husband Rory Barrett of Seattle, WA, and their father David B. Waddell of Isla Mujeres, Mexico; four sisters, Margaret (Don) Belyea, Lisa (Carl) Winger, Sally (Paul) Fredrickson, and Amy (Brit) Eaton; one brother Scott Rehkopf. Norma was preceded in death by her parents.
Services for Norma will be at 4:00 P.M., Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids. Her family will greet friends from 3:00 to 4:00 P.M.
