Ozro B Snyder's Obituary
age 103 (less 37 days), of Edmore, MI, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2016 at Masonic Pathways of Alma. Ozro was born April 3, 1913 in Greenville, MI, the son of Abraham and Nancy (Frost) Snyder. He was raised in Prudenville, MI, and attended Prudenville Community Schools. Ozro married Delores Shine and was employed by Detroiter Mobile Home for thirty years until his retirement in 1962. His hobbies included fishing, gardening, and wood crafts. He was a member of Edmore Church of God.
Ozro will be deeply missed by six children James Snyder of Edmore, David (Patricia) Snyder of Coral, Janice (Archie) Wonsey of Edmore, Roger Snyder of Kent City, Eugene (Victoria) Snyder of Six Lakes, and Ellen Chapin of Florida; twelve grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one sister Mary Williams of Detroit; one brother Larry King; and many nieces and nephews.
Ozro was preceded in death by his loving wife Delores Snyder; three sons Darrell, Jack, and Paul Snyder; one daughter Elaine Snyder; two brothers Earl and Edward Snyder; two daughter-in-laws Pat and Collette Snyder; two great-grandchildren Brittany and Nathan Snyder; two sisters Sara Keeler and Lorenda Spawn.
Funeral services for Ozro will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 11:00 am at Brigham Funeral Chapel in Edmore, MI. Visitation will be on Monday, February 29, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Those wishing to contribute in Ozro's memory are asked to consider the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Association. A luncheon will follow the service at the Six Lakes Township Hall.
