Palma Lee Kingsley's Obituary
Palma "Pam" Lee Kingsley, age 80, previously of Kalamazoo, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 20, 2016, at Laurel's of Carson City.
She was born on July 21, 1936 in Kalamazoo, Michigan the daughter of Leo and Palma (Sunday) Sleeman Sr.
Pam lived her whole life in Kalamazoo until 2 1/2 years ago; which she resided at The Laurels of Carson City to be closer to her family. She was a member of Westwood Church of God in Kalamazoo and was united in marriage to Frank Edwin Kingsley there on October 12, 1957.
After being married several years, they adopted 2 children. She was very involved in their lives growing up, including 4-H and Little League. Pam loved to bowl. She participated in leagues for several years. She also enjoyed selling Avon, painting & reading newspapers & magazines. Pam loved animals, especially her cat, Scrappie, but her grandchildren gave her the most joy. She loved spending time with family, especially playing Uno and watching movies. She will be missed dearly.
Pam is survived by her children, Terrance "Ted" and wife, Brenda (Lambert) Kingsley of Sumner, Michigan and Jodi and husband, Jeffrey Anderson of San Marcos, Texas; five grandchildren, Cassandra, Michael, Malachi, Kody and Jakob; two great grandchildren, Paul and Jaylah.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband and brother, Leo "Tom" Sleeman Jr.
A memorial service for Palma is planned for 11:00AM, Saturday, September 3, 2016 at M-46 Tabernacle, 11098 E. Howard City-Edmore Rd. (M-46 Hwy.), Riverdale, MI 48877. Bishop Daniel Skirvin will be officiating. A one hour visitation will take place on Saturday prior to the service, beginning at 10:00AM.
Those planning a memorial contribution are asked to consider the wishes of the Kingsley Family.
