Patricia Ann (Horrigan) Schneider's Obituary
Big Rapids Patricia Ann (Horrigan) Schneider, 60, of Grand Rapids formerly of Big Rapids and Ludington passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2010. She was born August 1, 1950 in Big Rapids, the daughter of Don and Barb Horrigan. Patty is survived by her husband Jerry, four daughters; MaryAnn (Ronnie) Mallison, Stephanie (Brad) Ivkovich-Overholt, Nikki (Brad) Ivkovich-Lone, Megan (David) Aberegg, one son Paul P. (Paula) Ivkovich, eight grandchildren, Allie and Austin Mallison, Trevor Overholt, Joelle and Keirsten Lone, Noah, Olivia and Lincoln Aberegg. Also surviving her mother, Barbara Horrigan and three brothers; Mike (Sue) Horrigan, John (Rose) Horrigan, Chuck (Joyce) Horrigan and a sister, Julie (Tom) Unger, plus several dear nieces and nephews. Patty was preceded in death by her father. She graduated from Big Rapids High School in 1968 and later she lived in Reed City and served on the City Commission and later lived in Ludington where she met and married Jerry. Patty and Jerry moved to Grand Rapids where she was employed at Grand Valley State University. A mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 19, 2010 at St. Marys Catholic Church in Big Rapids. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at the Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids with a vigil service at 7:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Memorials may be made in Pattys memory to Gildas Club in Grand Rapids or Grand Valley State University Athletic Department.
