Patricia Teresa Pendell's Obituary
Edmore-Patricia Teresa (Francis) Pendell, age 87 of Blanchard passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Isabella County Medical Care Facility in Mt. Pleasant. She was born on March 17, 1937, in the District of Columbia to Joseph and Florence (Mara) Francis. Patricia married Ralph D. Pendell in 1977 in West Virginia. Pat earned her nursing degree at the VanderCook School of nursing, and earned her bachelors degree from Ferris State University in Human Services and Behavioral Psychology. She was employed as a medical homecare professional, caring for many clients in the Midland and Mt. Pleasant areas. During that time Patricia made many lasting friendships with the family members of the clients she cared for. She loved shopping, animals, and her job.
Patricia is survived by her stepchildren, Duane C. (Diane) Pendell of DeWitt, Nona Sellers of Remus; step daughter-in-law, Linda Pendell of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; her niece, Tammy Holiday; and her special friends, Brenda, Kevin, Mark and her neighbor, Chris. They were always there looking after her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Duane Pendell in 2017; stepson, David Lee Pendell in 2017; parents, Joseph and Florence; and her sister, Susan.The family would like to extend special thanks the many friends that helped in the time of need, especially sister-in-law, Crystal Pendell for the wonderful care she provided.
Immediate cremation has taken place, services to be held at family discretion.
